8th grade sucks - volume 2

i am SO ready to be out of school. it is consuming my life and i don't like it one bit. one of Sarah's friends told me not to wish away life but i don't wish away life. i wish away school. but i guess i shouldn't do that either because I'm sure once i am grown and have some job i hate i will wish i was back in school. maybe...
my Sunday pretty much sucked. we went to church (which was not part of the suckiness) and then the whole entire day i worked on a children's book we had to write for language arts. and i still didn't get it done!!! that was the sucky part. silly me got all creative with my imagination and wrote a pretty decent sized story that i had to make into a book with illustrations and everything. silly silly me. so i worked on it until about 10:00 last night and then got too tired to care whether it was done or not. i worked on it a LOT today and still didn't get it done. i even had a friend helping me on it up to literally the last minute of the day and we still didn't get it done. ugh. i could have just turned it in late but the whole point of doing a children's book was so i could enter it in some competition that Ms. Long wanted us to participate in. i was on my way to turn it in when Janel said she was staying after school and would finish it for me. oh how wonderful she is. the only thing left to do was go over one page with an ink pen so i am hoping she got it finished. i was going to make the cover all pretty with ribbons and stuff but oh well. i am just thankful that i got most of it done and that Janel is so wonderful to help. stressing over the book was really the only bad part of my day. except for the bus of course. its always bad. especially because there is this really annoying guy with the most obnoxious voice i think i have ever heard who yells across the bus ALL the time. and i don't even know what he is yelling because it is all in Spanish! it is so annoying. today he screamed in my ear to try and scare me and it totally didn't work. it just gave me a headache. and it made me want to hit him. now i am home with a butt load of homework sitting there waiting to be done. hip hip freaking hooray.

my positive of the day: i have friends like Janel that are always there to help me. and i am so very thankful.
