back at school

today was the first day back at school after fall break. it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. a part of me was glad to go back so i wasn't stuck alone at home bored. we didn't even really do anything at school today which rocked! we have parent/student conferences tomorrow so we just prepared for those all day. i do not even need to do one because i make good grades and mom knows it but i am doing one anyways. they "strongly recommend" it. besides doing nothing, we got report cards today! i got all As! its awesome. i was sure i was going to get Bs in at least 2 of my classes but i didn't. hooray! i am trying really hard to keep my grades up because i know high school is going to be hard and i want to make sure i get off to a good start next year. wow, i cant believe i am going to be in high school next year. that's crazy. and kind of scary. but i am excited. Julia says that high school is way better than middle school which is a relief. middle school kind of sucks. i only have to survive one more year. i think i can do it. maybe...
